Druide Bath Products…Obsessed

Posted on

That’s the only way we can describe it. Obsessed. Druid’s bath products are so lovely, all natural and full of certified organic and pure essential oils. They feel rich and luxurious, while being gentle enough for daily use. We are currently crushing on their very refreshing and therapeutic Respir Foaming Bath. It’s got this gorgeous scent that’s full of eucalyptus, peppermint and thyme. Perfect for days you are feeling under the weather ( use this and have a hot cup of tea and you’ll feel super comforted) and just as wonderful for nights you want a bath with amazing aromas as a pick me up. We’re near our last drop and not sure if a bath is possible without it. Perhaps obsessed isn’t strong enough. Don’t try it if you don’t want to be hooked like us.

Rosie’s At It Again

It’s a well know fact around here that Rosie Flo coloring books are the best around.  Her fashion themed coloring books, with dresses that you have to add the face and arms and legs yourself are so original and inspiring. It’s no small wonder then that her Coloring Fashion Show is a total hit in our house.  Take Rosie’s fashionable dresses, add a paper pop up stage and runway, add some spectators, a poodle and paper invites and voila…you’ll have the most entertaining and quite stunning afternoon art project to work on with your kids.  We loved how easy it was to construct, and that when you’re done you truly have an original piece of art that you can play with.  We added lots of little extras like red glitter glue and adhesive crowns from our art box to make it one of a kind ( we also played Madonna music and invited some Polly pockets and Star War figures to the show once we finished coloring).  The true beauty of this crafty coloring project is that you can decorate it anyway you like…use crayons or fancy markers…add feathers to their dresses or keep it simple using only neutral shades…it’s up to your wee one to create and direct their very first fashion show.  You’ll have a blast too, as we know we did. This makes a fabulous birthday gift for the 5-10 crowd.  Who doesn’t like pop up dolls and coloring?

Want to win one of Rosie’s fashion shows of your very own?  Just comment on this review and we’ll enter your name in a draw.  Simple and easy.  Bonne Chance!

Did The Easter Bunny Find You?

What did the Easter Bunny hide in your house today?  Yummy chocolate eggs…skip ropes and colorful sidewalk chalk?  There was all that and a little more at our house this year.  Seems the Easter Bunny stopped by Cate & Levi for a handmade, one of a kind change purse and hid it in our living room amongst all the chocolate.   Featured on Martha Stewart and loved by new daddy Elton John, we’ve been infatuated with C & L’s puppets for a while now ourselves. Love their new 2012 line of people puppets and change purses.  Each piece they make truly is an original as they’re crafted from reclaimed wool…no one will ever have the same one you do. That alone makes them a perfect present. Our favorite, besides the Bunny change purse, is the Nurse People Puppet.  Sure she’s wearing a hat…but that makes her cool in a retro Nightingale kinda way. Can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

Skinnygirl Face & Body Rocks Our World

Nobody wants or likes dry, dull skin…especially pregnant ladies.  Like they don’t have enough going on already…sore feet, swollen everything , and being oh so tired.  We discovered a new, and very affordable line that caters to mommas to be and all their beauty needs…and troubles.  Bethenny Frankel of Housewives of NY fame has added a new line to her growing empire, and we like it.  Famous for her natural take on healthy eating, and line of Skinnygirl cocktails, she can now add making pregnant mommies feel good to her list of talents.  Her new Face & Body products are amazingly affordable and quite effective.  Love the Soothing Body Oil with it’s super lite scent and moisturizing natural oils like almond and coconut.  Perfect after a shower on freshly shaved legs.  It’s marketed for mommies pre and post baby, but we think it’s just perfect for anyone with dry skin.  Put it on at night after a nice bath…rub it into your tired feet, pull on some cotton socks  (pour yourself a Skinnygirl margarita) and your skin will be as soft as a baby by morning.  Oh Bethenny, what will you think of next?
