Oompa + Dollhouse = Happy Mom

October 19th, 2008 Comments(0)

It’s time to start thinking about Christmas momma….you just can’t put it off any longer. To avoid the stress and lineups, we stay clear of the mall and have been doing some shopping at Oompa Toys. We like to shop at night, online, with a yummy glass of Shiraz, when the kids are tucked in…you can’t do that at the mall. Our favorite find at Oompa? The Chalet DollHouse by Plan Toys. It’s this super cool wooden house that comes in two units, one with three floors and the second with two floors. Your wee one can use their imagination to decide how to arrange them. Love that it’s made of natural rubber wood and free of nasty chemicals. The furniture that it comes with is hip and modern…makes you want to redo your own house. So ditch the local mall mommy and sit back with you fave beverage and shop away in style like us at www.oompa.com

Eco Friendly High Tea

October 01st, 2008 Comments(0)

Everyday around 4 o’clock we have high tea at our house. The 2 year old gets out her best dishes and serves mommy plastic cake and cookies. Yum. Since this is a daily ritual, it’s time she had a fabulous tea set to play with. With all the fuss over the chemicals found in toys these days we were so relieved to find GREEN TOYS. They’re a fabulous company that uses recycled milk jugs to make toys that are BPA, phathalates, and lead free. Love the girly pastel shades and how durable the pieces feel. Who knew you could save the earth while sharing tea with your tot? Go green with this modern little tea set at www.greentoys.com

Celebrity Approved Baby Carrier

September 30th, 2008 Comments(2)

New Native Baby Pouches are showing up all over Hollywood and New York on the most A list of celebs. We couldn’t help but notice, and since it’s good enough for Brad and Angie, we though we should try this popular baby carrier out ourselves. We have one of New Native’s organic carriers in natural twill with a gorgeous poppy trim. First off, we have to say it is so soft. Like butter. No worries about rough material on baby’s face here. We also really love that it’s so simple to use. No hooks, rings or snaps. Busy mommies need simplicity, and this carrier has that and loads of classy style. Who else has a New Native Baby Pouch? The fabulous Keri Russell and new daddy Matthew McConaughey. Perfect for a stroll in the park, or for an active day around the city. Besides looking fabulous with all of our outfits (yes, that is important mommies), this carrier folds up super small so it fits into our diaper bag easily. Carry your baby like Angelina at www.newnativebaby.com

Be Good & Shop Organic

September 25th, 2008 Comments(0)

It’s true mommies, you just can’t own enough organic tee shirts…or pants for that matter. We’re always on the hunt for fabulous organic clothes for our little tots and our latest fab find is Chapter One Organics. We fell for their Earthlux Lounge Set in Olive. So soft and comfy with a modern graphic. Perfect outfit for a crisp Fall walk, or snuggling and sipping hot chocolate. Love the eggplant and red clay shades they useĀ  too. They also make stylish onesies and rompers with hip patters and brilliant details. Our favorite is the Groovy Pink Dress. It’s simply gorgeouse. The best part? Chapter One Organics has their earth friendly clothing made in the US by women who have had significant barriers to employment. How fantastic is that? So, like we said….be good, shop organically when you can as every little bit does help. Chapter One will help ya look stylish while you’re doing good at www.chapteroneorganics.com.

Onesies & Tees With Energy

September 12th, 2008 Comments(0)

Eco fashions have come a long way baby…and we love it! They used to be so boring, and well, just so bla. Now us earth minded mommies can pick and choose hip and eco friendly clothes. Style and the environment go hand in hand with the fresh and funky designs at SNRG WEAR, a delicious find from Hawaii. Great bold colors and slick graphics make their tees and onesies a fave around here. Urban but very kid friendly. Love the positive message they send out too…the surfers, the trees, the headphones, all good things that bring smiles and pleasure to our busy lives. Their hand screened tees and onesies are made of organic cotton and the dye they use is low impact. How brilliant is that? We think these creations are very “Jolie-Pitt” and would make a great gift for the twins, don’t you think? Have a look at www.snrgwear.com, you can thank us later.

Organic Basics For Baby

September 10th, 2008 Comments(0)

Every stylish wardrobe needs basics. Even baby’s needs the perfect tee and pair of casual yoga pants to wear to Sunday brunch. We’ve stocked up on our baby’s clothing staples at ikookie. Dressing your child in organics has been the norm in Hollywood for some time, and now us regular moms can shop for it to without spending a fortune. The clothes at ikookie are extremely soft and with colors like banana, blush and marshmallow, your tot will be happy to wear them too (who knew 2 year olds had such an opinion on what to wear?). The lilac and the rose colored tees would fit in with this Falls trend of bright pastels. They’d also look brilliant layered over the long sleeved tees. We think their diaper covers are super cute too…cute usually isn’t our “thing” here at Celebrity Baby Clothes, but can’t you just picture them covering your baby’s little bum? Stylish Lunch Bag

September 09th, 2008 Comments(0)

We like to think of September as a new beginning. Out with the old smelly lunch bags and in with the new. We have our tot’s lunch packed up in MIMI THE SARDINE’S eco friendly Fleur Lunch Bag. It’s fabric is from Sweden and it’s free of all those nasty chemicals that have us mommies stressed out. How fabulous is the bright blue backdrop? The flowers seem to just pop right out at you too. So stunning and very stylish…we may just have to borrow it every now and then from the little one. Love how easy it washes…spilled ravioli? No worries, just wipe it or toss in the washer. Raspberry jam sandwiches are always more fun when they come in a cute little lunch bag, don’t you think? We got ours from OOMPA TOYS (love their Euro collections) and you can too at www.oompa.com
