We’ve been through a lot of onsies in this house…and we know what we like and what we don’t. Usually we make that decision at 3am when we are changing a bum…if the onesie makes us mad we toss it. No questions asked. Who needs to fuss when your baby’s already fussing? Give us a soft, comfy onesie with a snug fit, throw in some jazzy colors to choose from and add natural bamboo fibers (and don’t forget buttons that actually snap shut) and we’ll be the happiest mommy on the block. That’s just what the fab folks at Continue reading
Shopping online for childrens clothing is just about the smartest mommy tip we can hand along to you. It’s fast, easy, and very satisfying. There’s no temper tantrums to deal with (at least till the visa bill comes…)…you don’t have to spend a sunny day at the dreaded mall and you can do it in the comfort of your home, snuggled up on the couch sipping a yummy coffee (or needed glass of vino). One of our favorite places to shop is Little Milk Junkie. They carry the creme de la creme of kids clothes and the service is divine. Our latest purchase? The Navy & White Striped Dress from Petit Bateau. It’s a true classic, easy to wash and wear and looks fabulous paired with dark denim capris or alone with sun kissed bare feet. You can bet we’ll be back for more from their collection of threads from Kate Mac and Charlie Rocket. So momma, after they’re all tucked in, flip on the computer, pour whatever keeps you going and have a look at all the fab clothes at Little Milk Junkie. You will thank us later.
We have spoiled ourselves so much that nothing but the best will do…so thank goodness our package from Paigelauren Baby arrived in the mail the other day. We needed a luxury fix and we got it. Paigelauren makes the softest baby clothes we have ever felt…honest. Like butter. Debuting their fresh Fall line this past September, Paigelauren is getting a name as the brand to go for if you want style, comfort and baby clothes that are timeless. Love the classic lines, detailed stitching and practicality of the onesies, cardigans and rompers. The kimono long sleeve tee in rose is absolutely gorgeous and looks fabulous alone or layered over one of their classic white tees. can’t wait to see the Summer 2009 collection with it’s hip beach theme. Paigelauren’s modern and stylish clothes are designed and made in LA and sold in posh stores such as Nieman Marcus. We think you’ll agree that this line is worth all the fuss as you’ll be able to pass it down to the next baby due to the clothes fine quality and timeless look. They also have an organic collection for eco conscience babies. Go to www.paigelaurenbaby.com and just try to leave without owning some Paigelauren…you won’t be able to.
We are utterly addicted to finding the perfect baby sling. You could say we’re obsessed. We have tried out more slings than anyone ought to be allowed to and yes…we are very picky. We stumbled upon Serena & Lily’s Market Baby Sling when we saw pics of Nicole Kidman strolling through London with baby Sunday Rose wrapped up in their luxurious creation. Just look at the hand embroidered details and gorgeous shades of fabric they use…very drool worthy. We were also super impressed with how soft the organic lining is and that there are no snaps, rings or straps…just slip it on and away you go. Quite honestly it’s the baby sling we get the most compliments on while we stroll to the park and through the shops. Other hip celebs that make this classy sling a baby must have are Ethan Hawk, and Camila Alves. If you’re thinking of getting this sling for a baby shower gift you should know that it comes packaged in the most posh little box…makes all the difference and adds some “Ohh and Ahh” to your gift. There’s nothing better than a soft blanket to snuggle under when the wind is blowing and the snow starts falling. You want something cuddly and soft for your baby with some style thrown in. We just received our new baby blanket from Shi Shu Style. It’s made of cotton and bamboo, so it’s naturally lite, breathes and is antibacterial. All the qualities you want for your baby…and if you’re a blanket snob, which we proudly are. Love the neutral and calming shades it comes in and the woven detail. Simply stunning. They work well as a comfy play mat too. Versatile, earth friendly and chic, what more do you want mommy? Ok, we’ll let you in on a secret…they made there way into the Golden Globe Gift Bags. Who knows how many celebrity babies are wrapped up in Shi Shu’s brilliant blanket. Get some Shi Shu into your nursery at www.shishustyle.com
New Native Baby Pouches are showing up all over Hollywood and New York on the most A list of celebs. We couldn’t help but notice, and since it’s good enough for Brad and Angie, we though we should try this popular baby carrier out ourselves. We have one of New Native’s organic carriers in natural twill with a gorgeous poppy trim. First off, we have to say it is so soft. Like butter. No worries about rough material on baby’s face here. We also really love that it’s so simple to use. No hooks, rings or snaps. Busy mommies need simplicity, and this carrier has that and loads of classy style. Who else has a New Native Baby Pouch? The fabulous Keri Russell and new daddy Matthew McConaughey. Perfect for a stroll in the park, or for an active day around the city. Besides looking fabulous with all of our outfits (yes, that is important mommies), this carrier folds up super small so it fits into our diaper bag easily. Carry your baby like Angelina at www.newnativebaby.com
It’s true mommies, you just can’t own enough organic tee shirts…or pants for that matter. We’re always on the hunt for fabulous organic clothes for our little tots and our latest fab find is Chapter One Organics. We fell for their Earthlux Lounge Set in Olive. So soft and comfy with a modern graphic. Perfect outfit for a crisp Fall walk, or snuggling and sipping hot chocolate. Love the eggplant and red clay shades they use too. They also make stylish onesies and rompers with hip patters and brilliant details. Our favorite is the Groovy Pink Dress. It’s simply gorgeouse. The best part? Chapter One Organics has their earth friendly clothing made in the US by women who have had significant barriers to employment. How fantastic is that? So, like we said….be good, shop organically when you can as every little bit does help. Chapter One will help ya look stylish while you’re doing good at www.chapteroneorganics.com.
Eco fashions have come a long way baby…and we love it! They used to be so boring, and well, just so bla. Now us earth minded mommies can pick and choose hip and eco friendly clothes. Style and the environment go hand in hand with the fresh and funky designs at SNRG WEAR, a delicious find from Hawaii. Great bold colors and slick graphics make their tees and onesies a fave around here. Urban but very kid friendly. Love the positive message they send out too…the surfers, the trees, the headphones, all good things that bring smiles and pleasure to our busy lives. Their hand screened tees and onesies are made of organic cotton and the dye they use is low impact. How brilliant is that? We think these creations are very “Jolie-Pitt” and would make a great gift for the twins, don’t you think? Have a look at www.snrgwear.com, you can thank us later.
Every stylish wardrobe needs basics. Even baby’s needs the perfect tee and pair of casual yoga pants to wear to Sunday brunch. We’ve stocked up on our baby’s clothing staples at ikookie. Dressing your child in organics has been the norm in Hollywood for some time, and now us regular moms can shop for it to without spending a fortune. The clothes at ikookie are extremely soft and with colors like banana, blush and marshmallow, your tot will be happy to wear them too (who knew 2 year olds had such an opinion on what to wear?). The lilac and the rose colored tees would fit in with this Falls trend of bright pastels. They’d also look brilliant layered over the long sleeved tees. We think their diaper covers are super cute too…cute usually isn’t our “thing” here at Celebrity Baby Clothes, but can’t you just picture them covering your baby’s little bum? Check out ikookie’s organic line at www.ikookie.com
We think of ourselves as baby carrying experts here at Celebrity Baby Clothes…front carriers, hip carriers, slings…we have tried them all. Love the idea of a front carrier, but we just couldn’t find the right one…why is it so difficult? Not all carriers are created equal…that’s for sure. We heard about Belle Baby Carriers and thought we’d give it one more go…so happy we did. We were lucky enough to try their gorgeous and organic denim front carrier…love this new trend of using denim in baby gear…chic and it goes with Continue reading
