When shopping for shoes we always have to keep in mind what type of fun we’ll be having when we’re wearing them…jumping in mud puddles, walking on the beach…camping with the family…even shopping with mommy. The new Adventure line from Celeb Baby Clothes fave Pediped fits all our criteria for perfect summer shoes. We went for their Amazon in a bright shade of purple. Same flexibility as all their other comfy shoes and this line uses eco friendly materials too. Pediped’s claim that they are water safe, ready for mud stains and beach fun is totally true, as we tested them out on the sands and theme parks of Florida. Our tot’s Amazons got tossed in the washer more often than we wanted, but came out fine each time…looking good as new we might add. We definitely put these Adventure shoes to the test.
New clothes are like new friends…you get excited at the thought of them…love taking them out for coffee and you can never have enough, right? Well, depends on the clothes, and if they are from Olive’s Friend Pop, then you’ll be set. Gorgeous play clothes with a vintage flare and original details …Olive’s Friend Pop is by far the most impressive clothing line we’ve reviewed in along time. Love the lined skirts with floral lining and the pink collared dress that ties in the back. Very playful and girly but in a sophisticated and classic way. Durable enough for the playground and pretty enough for birthday soirees. What more do you need?
We’ve been fortunate enough to get to try out the gorgeous baby bedding from Oilo, a fab nursery decor and furniture company. We have to say that their crib sheets are fast becoming a favorite in our nursery and we’ve been known to stare at their amazing gliders on-line in the wee hours of the night while up with the bambino. Yes it’s true…we are 5 years old. We started this web site in the Spring just before our first was born and published our first write by June /06. Time flies! We are quite obsessed since discovering Momfilter. A brill website from the founders of Cookie magazine (we are still mourning the loss of Cookie…best magazine ever….can’t bare to toss our old ones in the recycle bin yet). Getting us all packed up for a trip to Florida, and we can’t wait to break out the new swimwear. We received the most splendid bathing suit all the way from Australia the other day (insert squeal) from Bobbi Sunshine Swimwear. It’s super girly with it’s ruffles, and slightly retro with it’s yellow polka dot pattern it has going on. LOVE IT…and so does the daughter, which really is all that matters. She tells us it’s quite comfy and “easy to swim in”…and she claims it “doesn’t ride up”…truth from a 5 year old. Priceless. The mommy in us enjoys the adjustable tie straps and the 50 SPF fabric. Stylish and safe. Also, Bobbi Sunshine is a family run company that donates to a charity with each purchase. Too wonderful.

Babies smell heavenly. They just do. So when we bathe and massage our wee one we like to use products that are all natural and scented lightly with real plants and oils. That’s why we are currently loving the baby line from Lavanila Laboratories. Totally harsh chemical free…nothing harmful or disastrous for your baby’s skin in their body products. We received their Health Baby Bundle, complete with lotion, bottom cream and baby wash. Loved it all. The lotion went on clean…absorbed quickly…the baby wash was used by all and we all felt very refreshed after washing up…as for the bottom cream, well, we can safely say that baby’s bum is perfectly perfect after being smeared with Lavanila’s diaper cream. Featured in People, Marie Claire and Pregnancy & Newborn magazine, Lavanila has lots of fabulous mommy “must haves” too…like the yummy lip shines. Next time that’s what we’re indulging in.
